Marian Grandy

In 2017, Marian and her husband settled in Porters Lake with their two dogs, and since then, they have welcomed three wonderful boys into their family, expanding it in delightful ways. Marian has been a registered dental hygienist since 2011, having earned her diploma from Dalhousie University. Prior to that, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree from St. Francis Xavier University in 2009. Throughout her career, she has gained extensive experience in various clinical settings, most recently serving as an RDH at Porters Lake Dental. It was during this time that she developed a profound appreciation for the passion and commitment required in dental health. She learned that it's not just about delivering excellent oral care but also about connecting with patients, taking time to engage with them, and equipping them with the knowledge and tools to manage their oral health effectively. Porters Lake Family Smiles Dental Hygiene Clinic is a testament to Marian's dedication to providing comprehensive dental hygiene care, giving back to her community, and forging lasting connections with people. Outside of her professional life, Marian immerses herself in family activities, relishing the joys of lakeside living and the charms of the countryside. Additionally, she has a passion for cross-country skiing and curling during the winter months.
